Welcome
Le Meridien Jaipur welcomes guests with an
ambience of a welcome accorded to a victorious Rajput warrior. On
arrival guests will be met by our representative and transferred to
hotel. Guests are received at 100 yards away from the hotel by an
elaborate procession of Elephants, camels, horses with men holding
flags, and men holding Mashal and are escorted to the main hotel
entrance.
A dream setting area is created by decorating the
entrance with special Rangoli on floor, flowers, Red Carpet, centuries
old drums and the Bakia ( grand trumpet). Girls attired in Rajasthani
costumes stand at the entrance to the lobby and garland guests on
arrival. As you step into the hotel you will be having the first
experience of Indian warmth and hospitality, elegant ladies in
traditional local costumes greet you with garlands and perform the "aarti"
ceremony and anoint your forehead with the traditional red "Tikka",
the biggest symbol of honor. Welcome drinks will be served on arrival
while keys are being distributed.
